Every year, there is a culinary event that celebrates the gastronomy of this extraordinary town. The Shrimp Festival provides visitors the opportunity to try some extraordinary shrimp dishes.
Nine years ago, the Festival came about from an idea to showcase Guaymas and San Carlos' excellent restaurants and culinary traditions on a local stage. This event also includes cultural and musical activities.
You cannot miss the opportunity to taste the distinctive flavor of the Sonoran grilled meat.

ECOTOURISM
Near to San Carlos you can enjoy all the nature magnificent; Whether San Pedro Nolasco island, where sea wolves and seagulls melt with the unique blue crystal ocean water or just to stare at the big grey whales and dolphins swimming close to the shore during winter and spring.
Perhaps you'd rather like to tan under the 90º F sunshine, lying on the Algodones or San Francisco beach sand or maybe just practice some beach sport.
The scenic view point is one of the most liked area, having a fruit cocktail or a coconut while enjoying the great sea and mountain view, storing wonderful memories in pictures.
Also you can have a very fun moment visiting the saltwater pearl farm in Guaymas.
